Autism Services
Individualized, evidence-based ABA therapy grounded in compassion.
ABA Therapy
Golden Rule ABA provides individualized therapy sessions with the child and a parent or caregiver who knows the child well. Therapy is delivered in a clinic setting, or a combination of clinic and community.
Therapy session length is determined by the recommended hours, goals, and availability of team members. Therapy sessions are often paid for by health insurance or can be a private pay scenario. Get in touch if you want to know more about how your insurance might cover behavioral therapy.
Holistic Practice Philosophy
In a world that keeps shifting — diagnoses, school transitions, insurance systems, development itself — a child needs an anchor. Our approach starts there: one reliable connection, held with deep awareness, that ripples outward through everything else.
The holistic approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is incredibly effective in addressing individual needs and contexts. By blending ABA principles with a deep understanding of each person’s unique circumstances, this method ensures that every aspect of their life is considered in their treatment plan.
Prioritizing not only behavioral changes but also overall well-being and quality of life, the holistic ABA approach promotes meaningful and sustainable improvements. With a focus on understanding the function of behavior and addressing underlying causes, this approach empowers individuals to thrive in all areas of their lives, making a positive impact that extends far beyond behavior management.
“When you touch one thing with deep awareness, you touch everything.”— Lao Tzu
Parents as Team Members
Golden Rule ABA therapists and parents work closely together to help a child make changes in their behavior. Parents don’t need to guess about what therapists are doing — they will sometimes be in the therapy session and sometimes be kept up to date on a session-by-session basis.
Sometimes parents are the ones helping their child with treatment and the therapist checks in via telehealth to support parents. Telehealth usually involves an internet connection and a secure video connection between the parent and the therapist.
How Is ABA Therapy Paid For?
Private pay is the option when you pay for services yourself. If you receive a diagnosis that your child has a developmental disability or an autism spectrum disorder from a physician (or a nurse practitioner) and the diagnosis includes an order for ABA therapy, then your medical insurance will deem the therapy a medical necessity.
